Underpinning a major historical site

In the centre of Antwerp, 3 underground parking levels had to be constructed under the existing historic Handelsbeurs.

To this end, the entire building was underpinned by large-diameter jetgrout piles after which excavation could then be carried out in stages in stross under the trade fair building.

Thanks to Future Foundations' expertise in jetgrouting, these works could be carried out on schedule and without any damage to the historically valuable building.
