Sheet pile walls

For the construction of a pipeline along the E34 motorway, the pipeline must cross the motorway at several locations. These crossings are carried out by means of horizontal pipe jacking. To make this possible, a launch shaft and a reception shaft are constructed. Sheet piles are preferred for these shafts because they can be removed again after completion of the works.

Along the route, several locations presented highly challenging ground conditions where the sheet piles had to be installed into the Boom Clay formation and subsequently extracted again. These works were awarded to Future Foundations because of our strong focus on safety, flexibility in execution, and innovative solutions tailored to the demanding ground conditions encountered on this project.
