Ground anchors

Ground anchors are made of high-strength steel tendons or bars inserted into drilled holes and bonded to the ground with grout. They serve to transfer tensile loads from structures to stable soil or rock.

This technique is the preferred solution for:

• Stabilizing retaining walls
• Stabilizing slopes, embankments and deep excavations
• Transferring concentrated tensile forces to the surrounding soil/rock.
